BEST stands for Best Enumeration of SNP Tags. BEST is a web-based computer program able to identify the minimum set of SNP uniquely identifying an haplotype.
BEST v 1.0 requires MS Windows 95/NT/98/ME/2000, at least 128 MB of RAM and a 300 Mhz processor.
BEST is distributed free of charge to academic and other non-profit organizations. For commercial use in for-profit organizations, contact the developers.
